Spring into Clemson planned for Saturday

Mar 30, 2018 | Posted by matt |

Here is a link to the article written by Greg Oliver with The Seneca Daily Journal, “Spring into Clemson planned for Saturday.” In the article Greg tells us about the upcoming event to be held in downtown Clemson to celebrate spring. It will be held this Saturday between 2 & 8 p.m. The event will include all the things you’d expect such as food, children’s area, shopping, live music and for a $2 fee you will be able to carry alcoholic beverages within the festivals perimeter. The event is for a good cause as the proceeds will donated to four local non-profit groups: Pickens county Advocacy Center, The Parenting Place, Upstate Warrior Solution and Foothills Care Center. He goes on to tell us the most popular place last year was the kids area “which featured an inflatable bounce house, a photo booth, doughnut on a rope, corn hole, face painting, ring-toss and a craft station making bracelets and necklaces.

Other Things to do around Clemson University

Another one of the great things about owning real estate such as a lot, permanent residence, vacation home or vacation rental on Lake Keowee South Carolina is being close to Clemson and all of the fun and fellowship it offers. It has a great small town flavor, yet has many of the things you’d want from a larger town including big time college athletics, adult continuing education, The Brooks Center for performing arts, The SC Botanical Gardens, nature trails, shopping, dining and of course Clemson Blue Cheese. If you are in one of the communities on the lower section of Lake Keowee you are looking at a 15 minute drive. From the furtherest point on the lake I’d say around a 40 minute trip. Make sure to check out our  Hot Spots section where you will find several links to additional information as well as some videos. Here is the link to the Web site we created for The SC Botanical Garden.
